someday my time will come

would you believe that i really haven't even had the time to deal with photos from the last time we went down to the beach in july?
how slack is that?

but i've been busy.
life, work, home, kids, spouse.... the whole she-bang.
[no, that's not a freudian slip, A. heh...]

four weeks left of my rotation and i'm not very prepared to graduate.
there are so many scans that i haven't even done yet for many reasons.
my tech sends me out for scans but still feels like he has to come behind me and check things.
but that's ok, really.
whatever it takes.

this weekend, i had every intention on spending time in the yard. i've got so many plants i need to move from one spot to another, dirt to haul for new beds, weeds to pull, and plants to water.
but the forecast is calling for rain ALL DAY tomorrow.

the plus - sugar melts and shit floats.
you know i ain't melting.
heh...

hope things are well all the way around the world.
xo.

sand between the toes

the beach has been great.
looking forward to leaving later though.
i'm ready to wash the sand out of my asscrack for good.

trouble has been difficult to find.
maybe that's a good thing.

A,
while i understand that you really don't want to talk to anyone outside, just know that i wish i could come hang for a little while.
long enough for some laughs and a few sand dollar appetizers, maybe?
love you, friend.

keeping watch

i got this on my cell from big girl. we were sitting out on the beach watching my SIL way out in the water, past the sandbar, with baby girl and her two kids.
i was nervous as shit, knowing that i would end up in the water thrashing about, trying to save my baby.

of course, all ended well.

today, i played hooky from work.
went out with J last night.
i didn't drink to excess but it certainly was a late night.

i used to think that the day would never come...

on being social

a friend from class had a graduation party yesterday. it was the most latin thing i've ever experienced.

the boys figuring out the ways of the world
this guy is the only guy that was in our class. he was in an accident over our winter break and is starting class again this coming week.

and fingernails and pinky rings....

and domios and margaritas galore.

series: i'm so happy

everything has so much new growth.

with all the prickly sticks and thorns in my side through the years - i love all my plants.

almost... like...

children.
heh..
