20 hours later
it was such a long night.pain meds every four hours in a little girl that reacted the exact opposite as you would think to pain meds.
lor-tab liquid = something wonderful.
if you aren't the baby girl.
it is like..... legal speed.
imagine a crack monkey after two pots of coffee followed by a high dose of red bu.
that's the baby girl after her pain meds.
the procedure itself only took about 30 minutes. tonsils and adenoids out, and at the last minute it was decided to put tubes in her ears.
she definitely got the full m0nty.
after the procedure, it was about 20 minutes before we could see her in recovery. the nurse was fanfuckingtastic (and quite purdy, i'll admit) and the baby was jacked. she was talking up a storm and tapping her IV hand on the bed rail, wondering why there was so much tape on her arm.
i hated having to go to class when all i wanted to do was curl up with her in bed.
but when i woke up in a pool of my baby girl's piss, i quickly remembered how much fun it is being a parent.

I'm so glad she's okay. Is she in a lot of pain now? I've never had mine taken out, so I don't know.
I bet she's digging the all-you-can-eat ice cream.
no dairy for the baby girl - you know, the whole mucus thing and all in the throat.
she is already sick of popscicles though. heh...
sha said this moring, "all i want is some fried chicken, momma!"
me, too.
