sunrise - sunset

well, i'm headed to the woods.
left class early to come home and pick up the dog and head north.
the baby and husband are already there. the big girl - she's staying with my mom.

it's going to be very strange to be there a year later.
being there since then has had strange feelings associated with it but to be there tomorrow will be difficult.

strange to think that this time last year, i was planning and preparing for my trip - throwing together last minute things and getting excited.
the future was being figured out, a day at a time, with happiness all around.

and here we are - one soldier less but just as strong.
