end of season wrap up

today was our banquet for bowling.
we did a 2 game n0 tap then went to a local hotel and had our shindig.
the buffet was better last year. but we had soup this year.

i won $5 for 4th place, game 2 of n0 tap. and got a patch (for my letterman's jacket, you know) for a 200 game back in feb.

my mom won $15 for 1st place, game 1 of n0 tap. she threw a 227 and totally kicked ass.
we've always said she's queen of the 9s anyway.
it showed today.

each of us walked away with $165 for our effort though - our cut from being 5th overall (out of 8 *cough* ).

i have to go to therapy in about 2 hours.

i'm content with floating right now.

i know it's not what's best in the long run but it's working right now.

i've been tempted to follow my usual path but have had the strength to stay true to myself.

i have overcome a very difficult relationship - something that has had it's claws in my neck for months.

and i'm excited about setting up the dark room this weekend.
everyone will be out of town from thurs - sun. it's the perfect opportunity to do something constructive.

i will want to go out and play this weekend. i've spent so much time thinking about it already.
it would be so easy.
and i can justify why there's nothing wrong with doing it with everyone out of town and with me left to my own devices.....

but i'm setting up the dark room this weekend instead.
