insert snappy something here.

i love these plants.
my MIL had two that were the most impressive things i've ever seen.

we went to a wedding a long time ago and the centerpieces were cutting size pieces in sand. she took hers and mine home and put them on the window sill in her kitchen.
at some point in time, they were repotted and put outside.

year before last, they were at their best - in half barrels, and the size of a v0lkswagon when they were side by side in the garage during the winter.

spring time came and they were put back out on the front porch, one on each side of the door. when i walked by them, it always seemed like they would reach out and touch me. when i would stand between them, i couldn't see over them.

the south ga heat set in with a vengeance. all the plants on the front porch (mostly my cacti) suffered for it. the j@de developed r00t r0t and slowly started to liquefy from the inside out. some larger pieces from the top were salvaged before it was too late.
every time i went to the out-laws, i would bring home a piece like above.

but the photo above is a piece that broke off one of the pieces i cut last year.
the dog was chasing lizards around some pots and knocked over a bunch of pots in the process.

i wasn't sure if something like that would travel as well as the barr3l c@ctus.
heh..

today was a good day at my site. it was busy until lunch with pr0cedures and outp@tients. we were running behind so i didn't scan any today.
next week is the 5th/last week of the first m0d. i have to turn in my pr0ficiency paperwork and take a test.
three more m0ds/15 weeks and i'm done.

that simple fact scares the shit out of me.
