i've said it before

working 40 hours a week has been quite an adjustment to my life.
hell, last week i worked 50 hours.

it's kept me busy and somewhat out of trouble. that's the goal, i suppose.

there's no way of telling when i will be done enough to get my letters for other jobs.

think of me this coming thursday - i'm having a bit of surgery.
i'm going to have it done at the hospital where i do my time. have to be there at 6:30am.
had my pre-op appointments yesterday at my dr and the hospital.
15 minutes to put me to sleep, 20 minutes to do the procedure, 20 minutes to wake me up.
it sounds so simple.

i'm having photos taken during the procedure, too. i want to see it all.
if i could get my hands on a video camera, i'd have that documentation, too. heh...

there's just nothing.

next month is painfully close. not a day goes by that i don't think of my dear friend.
it still feels so damn fresh.




i thought i could do better than this.
maybe i will give it another try soon..
