afternoon lull
it's been a lazy day.
the sun is blazin'hot so that negates mowing the grass til late afternoon.
the little dogs are in their crates - brown dog is at the end of the bed.
baby girl has been in the bed wtih me off and on.
she's also done her homework (not due til thurs) and worked in a few of her workbooks, drew some more of her comic, and got lost in her 'book of dragons' she's drawing.
and we are waiting on a pizza.
heh...
the plan is to starting packing up things in big girl's room.
she doesn't live here any more - i want baby girl in the bigger room now.
big girl doesn't like the idea but it's how it is.
i will always have a bed for her to sleep in when she visits.
been lost in the hist0ry channel and all the shows on about nine 0ne 0ne.
i wasn't even pregnant with baby girl then. she's one of those 'post event children' - like hurricane or blizzard babies. i remember exactly when i got pregnant with her.
two weeks later.
i do remember walking into class that morning and the people that were there looked like zombies. i was going to the tech school then. it was some data.base class...
all day we sat and watched the news.
everything felt so unfamiliar and violated.

I remember I was preparing my class for kids to come in when it happened. We pretty much had our TV on in the classroom the whole day. Many parents took their kids out of school, just so they could be near them. It was not a good time.
