the weekend - edit
my list of things to do:
-vacuum the closet floor.
-get husband's tools out of the closet and put them away.
so i got the tools situated
-clean out the tub since all my closet contents are in it.
the tub is cleaned out and scrubbed. closet - done.
-get easter stuff out of the attic.
in the end, all i needed to get were baskets and grass - easy to do myself
-hope that it warms up some outside today.
-wash the dog outside today.
-get some scripts refilled.
i can't go too long with out something good. heh...
-do some homework.
-buy two dozen eggs with change.
totally bought at the convenience store
-take a nap.
-get out my camera and clean it up.
edit - so it's 6pm EST. i've been a busy bee, indeed. i even got things done that aren't even on the list like -
cook dinner, get high, get laid, get drunk, and clean baby girl's room.
i'm sure that tomorrow, i will feel like total shit.
hmm... now that i look at that, it's sort of long.
i also calculated my study time last week (sat - wed, actually. i did NO studying on thurs - did my volunteer hours from 8:30 - 4:30, came home and kissed kids, changed, and went to school).
mind you - i had two tests last week. they were on tues and wed.
but from saturday to wednesday, i put in 27 hours of studying.
here's the kicker.
27 hours for two Bs.
what in the hell is it going to take for some gaw'dammed As?
it's easy to get As on the homework assignments and the scan lab work is good for the stage we are at but the tests are killing me.
but in the grand scheme of things, your pass/fail status is determined solely by the final exam grade. you have to get a 75 or better to pass the exam. provided you pass the exam with a 75 or better, that grade then becomes 40% of your final grade. homework and quizzes are worth 10%, attendance and class participation is 10%, and test average is 40%.
and - if i didn't know the information for the test and we don't get to see our tests again to see what we got wrong/didn't know, how well am i supposed to do on a cumulative final exam?
anyway......
i'm going to start packing my bags now.
early friday morning (the bad luck day), we are headed up to the out-laws. there's a manly camping trip planned with some kids* so the baby and i will be staying with my MIL.
i enjoy my time with her so i know it will be good.
and my dear friend's headstone has been placed.
two days before his birthday.
got a photo of it in the mail yesterday from his sister.
i can't wait to see it.
and i've got some things to leave that i didn't want to leave before with just dirt there.
god.
i'm out of dog shampoo, too.
gotta add 'sesun blue' to the egg list.
now that means i have to go to a real store and not just the convenient store.
damn dog and his sensitive skin =)
*after reading the post again, this just sounded funny. and not in that ha ha sort of way, but in that bad sort of way.
it's husband, the big girl, husband's brother, his youngest son, the brother's dad, and another kid from one of husband's sisters.
a manly trip with some kids!

1 Comments:
Does Selsun Blue really work on your dog?
My Lab has terrible dandruff, as well, and I never thought of using that on her. Hmmmm...
