has it been amost a week?

family has been gone about 24 hours.
since then, all i have done is study and go to class.
with no plans on the agenda, it's looking like that's all i will be doing throughout the weekend - studying.

that's not such a bad thing, really.
next week is finals week anyway.

this past monday at clinicals, it was stressful. almost made me rethink my future.
saw several 0B scans, a few ven0us d0pplers, saw an abdominal scan on a lady with a 52 cm mass that covered her entire viscera. even got to go to 0B to do an echoencephalogram on a fetal demise.

it was awful.
it was several hours after the fact and i do believe i saw what my husband saw when he found my dear friend dead in the yard. the dark veins and blue skin...
but it was an infant.

i don't know if i could go through that type of exam again.


anyway....
back to the grind.
