on the lord's day

well, it's about time for the big family vacation down to the beach.
we leave tomorrow after my clinical round and i can't wait. just to get out of the house and somewhere i haven't been in some time... it will be great to have the kids and dog on the beach, they love it so.

and the baby will be five tuesday.
at 11am, she will have given me hell for five years. i can't believe it's been that long already.

but today, i get to enjoy some stolen time with a friend. someone that i've come to enjoy so much. someone that i definitely miss in the downtime.
yesterday, i wished it didn't have to end.

and A - why can't we coordinate our vacation time together? just so we are gone at the same time.
maybe next year.
