so... ya.
whatever.

never fails to gain some ground and burn it just as easily...
get into a habit that quickly becomes an obsession...
or even stuck in the desert with no water.

and i most certainly totally 100% without a doubt choked on my scan final last night.
had an hour and a half to do a full thyr0id scan (18 images) and a unilateral car0tid study (14 images).
i rocked the thyr0id in about 20 minutes.
with five minutes to go, i still needed two car0tid images (that had to be doppler'd and measured).
anything i knew about the internal car0tid was gone. totally erased from my brain.
all i kept thinking was, "there's no right internal car0tid that is distal!"
or even, "alright, she's got no external car0tid."
with three minutes to spare, my teacher came up behind me and talked me off the edge. she totally helped me with anatomy when i knew nothing and was on the verge of losing 24 points off the top if i didn't have the two images.

i know i didn't do great. but i finished.

wonder if she's willing to talk me through the diagram that we have to label all the upper/lower extremity veins on tonight's test.
