i already feel like i'm drowning in school. this last combo class is going to be tough. monday night, after a day at the hospital, i will get to take an exam AND a quiz.

the big girl thinks she's dying. she experiences chest tightness and can't breathe, and it escalates for a few hours to the point where she's hyperventilating. went to the dr yesterday - she wanted a chest x-ray, he said it might be asthma or anxiety, considering the current issues.
he sent us home with a script for an inhaler.

the baby girl is one of the funniest kids ever. every thing that comes out of her mouth is so damn witty and absolutely hysterical.
she keeps the mood light at home.

i fear that my husband thinks that everything is okay between me and him. we've had to go to therapy but it's about the big girl. it's not like we can hash out all our own shit there in front of her. i wouldn't feel right doing that because it's not about her.
or the baby.

we were let out of class early tuesday night - a rare treat.
by 9:15, i was in a place that was a bit unexpected and it ended up being one of the best hours i could have ever spent.
well worth the drive.

going to start my holiday shopping today. did a few things online day before yesterday but nothing significant.
i want to find the baby girl a drum kit. i've got lessons lined up and everything.
the only thing the big girl wants is a lapt0p. for her room.
ya... no.

too much to do and not enough time in the week to do it.
shit going on this weekend, next week is busy with school, and then we leave friday for the outlaw celebration.

i can predict the weekend - oysters, cheap beer, expensive scotch, chili, hot dogs, humping chihuahuas, crying kids, not enough room to sleep, can't get out of there fast enough.

gah.

Good luck at the outlaws. Do they know what happened with the big girl?

Just what she needs, to see her daddy drunk again. If he's smart, he'll stay away from the stuff.

you can get pretty cheap refurbished laptops on ubid.com. i’ve bought 3 from there so far... with good results... who can afford new ones with kids in school (away at college) and needing them for homework and projects? as for the holidays, sending lots of energy your way, you'll need it...;-)
