it will be just like starting over

i want to lodge a complaint against the facility that kept my daughter for two and a half days. i'm not sure how to exactly go about it so i'm going to talk to a lady on my bowling league that is a child advocate (she goes to court for kids, etc.).
she was medicated to the point of being a zombie and didn't look as though she bathed the whole time she was there. she had that classic rehab look about her and i don't like it.

but she's home.
she's safe and feels safe.

however - her father comes home tomorrow.
when i spoke with him this morning, all he could say was that she's faking all of it for attention.
that and the fact that in no way, shape or form does he have a drinking problem.

this is going to be a long, uphill battle for some time.
but i'm up for a good fight.

thank you for all the well wishes.
positive thoughts help all the way around.

xo.

Make sure all the liquor in the house is gone and cut up his ATM card. Then let's see how fast his "problem" surfaces.

It's easy for him to say she's faking it. That's his way of convincing himself he's faultless.

seems to me that if you “need” a drink every day (or evening), and/or can’t conceive of spending time with family and friends without drinks, then you probably have an alcohol problem. you don’t have to be drunk (or a drunk) to have an alcohol problem...

You've already said it, "no more excuses", especially his! You know what you want and need so get your tushy on the path that will get you there! Give the girls hugs and kisses...

I am only an email away...
