i'm waiting for that final moment..

..when you say the words that i can't say.

the family comes home tomorrow.
i will be really happy to see the girls - i've missed them even though they make me crazy as shit.
the rest of the lot - not so much.

overall, i've done ok this week.
some things have been a battle for me.
i drank a lot this week.
tonight, included*.

on tuesday, i went to game 1 of the cub$/ray$ series.
it was a great game (and a great series overall *cough* ).
the company i was with has turned out to be a positive thing but everyday my confusion grows.

since tuesday, i have seen the same company 3 times.

i really haven't slept this week. definitely nothing worth anything.
hopefully this will be a good weekend for some sort of recovery effort on my part.

rehab is for quitters, right?

*getting ready to head out and throw some darts. cold beer and probably some wings will be involvded.

rehabilitation is more of a fresh perspective than a quitting... same problems, same people, same places...just fresh perspectives... rehab comes in many forms... depending on one’s temperament and beliefs, self examination through meditation, some of a more religious bent use prayer... still others try doctors and more potent drugs... but the essence of the thing is to change one perspectives, and thus moderate or influence the cycles of one’s life... in the end, everything’s the same, but if one’s perspective has changed, so has their quality of life... note that even the most enlightened masters have the same problems as everyone else, but they view them with a different (enlightened) perspective... energy heading your way...;-)
