what number post is this?

the proverbial 'same shit, different day' around here.
i'm still trying to get the house dealt with so it can be cleaned and then painted. it's a very laborious process for some reason.

shit. i know the reason.
aside from going through boxes that have been taped up since 1989, it's a very laborious process.
heh..

Amy - you have been on my mind. i don't like the thought of you being sick right now. there have been 3 local women that were pregnant and got sick and... well... made the news.
i hope that you are feeling better.
i need you to feel better.
and so do all the lil'babies.

still haven't submitted anything to any competitions.
yet.
i'll get around to it.

and s0mething c0mpletely different...

i found the following on a site where people reveal their secret$.

Women might think twice about using the word "pussy" when talking about their private parts. It is thought to be a derogatory word. From the French "puce" (pronounced "poose")- meaning "flea". When the word was used to describe a woman's pubic area, it was implying she had fleas down there. Women, I think you need a new word.

What's more, "kitty", although pleasant sounding, won't do. That word arises from pussy, as in "pussy cat" and "kitty cat".

Vagina, in my view, won't work. It just doesn't feel right. Any word with a 'V', although correct in shape :), is wrong in connotation. To many unpleasant V words - vulcan for example. The image of Spock should not be associated with something as beautiful as a woman's nether regions.

Another thing, woman should go on strike when it comes to wearing clothes colored puce (pronounced "pah-use"). The purplish color is though to get its name from the tint of a woman's labia - which again originates with the word "flea".

It's all wrong.

Women, I think you need to grab hold of all this unflattering nomenclature and do something about it.
not that this is a secret.
but i liked reading it.

just wanted to share.
heh..

the mantra for today:
close the frame.... close the frame.... close.. the .. frame....

I'm trying like hell to get over this cold. We keep passing it back and forth here since the kids started school.

I just don't want to cough when I have an abdominal incision. That sucks.
