well... ya.
my job sucks ass. the 8 - 5 grind sucks.
i hate coming home, cooking dinner, putting baby girl in the shower, then straight to bed.
i hate not being home and taking her to school and picking her up every day with plenty of time for some fun together.
i'm waiting on the go-ahead from my mom. going to do an 0nline transcripti0n c0urse - should finish it in about 3 months. i've already tested out of part one. two parts are pretty much ultras0und scho0l all over again then two parts of the actual transcripti0n stuff - learing how to use the equipment, doing transcripti0n, improving speed and accuracy...
nice money and the jobs are out there. nationwide, too.
my pay potential is based on my speed and accuracy. i just need to learn how to spell some things and learn the equipment.
i'm on it.
unfortunately, i think i've lost my ultras0und anything.
it's a 'use it or lose it' type of skill and i've not scanned since august.
i can still see what it's supposed to look like in my mind but to find it and survive doing an actual exam? not happening.
like i said - i hate my job.
everything i was told about the place could not be more true.
groups of latinos that refuse to help me learn anything by speaking english for more than two minutes, the group that sucks up to the office mgr, the med.dept desk.j0ckeys, the dental.desk j0cky...
i'm not racist but i'm the token white girl at this place and no one cuts me any slack.
and for $10 an hour - it ain't worth it any more.
the dog.dr just called - i can pick up the bulld0g any time after 3.
i have been stressing all morning about her coming out of sedati0n.
this is what i want to be doing during the day when i have to and work around things from the convenience of my own home.
work while baby girl is in school - do 4 eight hour days. on wed, work from 1-5, and have the option of working some on the weekends.
speed... and... accuracy.
