crossroads

i'm well into the meat of my first trans.scription class - i plan on being finished with the first part by fri. it's been easy thus far....

and then i hear from my auntie that has recently moved back to the area and has an awesome job and said she could get me on doing what she does.

you know - i'm not really sure what to call it besides 'pr0ject mgr' because that's what she is.

but it's for restaurants. all the decor inside your favorite chain restaurant (0utback, l0ngh0rn....that sort of place) - my aunt buys and supervises the installs at the location. all the crap that is always screwed into the walls and hangs from the ceilings and greets you at the entrance - ya, that stuff.

she told me a few weeks ago about being able to do some 1O99 work there in the warehouse (framing, stretching canvas, prepping prints, etc..) and i've been thinking about it. it will get me doing something outside of the house a few hours a week - and it's creative on top of that.

then yesterday, she tells me that they are looking for another pr0ject mgr and she bets that her boss would hire me.

uh....what?

so - here i am on mon morning - when i should be doing more transcripti0n work - downloading songs and really thinking about things differently today.

i'm going to go see her at work wed after bowling (she's doing an install tonight and tomorrow) and talk to someone about getting on 1O99 for fri work. be making more than i did at that clinic and it would be something i enjoy.

i could continue mon - thur doing the course work and do this fri gig for a while and see what happens? i've got to continue doing trans.scription regardless.

and fri is when my cleaning lady comes. i can't get any school work done on fri. heh...
