huh?

saw the 'quick.share.button' when i logged in. that would be the kiss of death for an an0n blogger.

ya, it's been awhile. i was thinking about that while i was at work today.
but it's been quite the cluster fuck.

the bday dinner started off great. it was nice, actually.
and it deteriorated quickly.
no bday n00kie for me.

the next day, R was sick. it progressed to something consuming.
but today, he's better and on the mend.
big girl has been taking good care of him.

work has been hard.
not mentally but physically.
stretching canvas has taken a toll on my hands and right arm. my arth.a.ritis has really come back with a vengeance - my left thumb is almost frozen, while my right hand is going to shrivel up and fall off at any moment.
and today, it caught up with me. it took forever for me to even get close to finishing up my job today. in the 8 hours i was there, i probably really did about 4 hours worth of work.
it's been discouraging anyway. i've been cutting stretcher bars, stretching canvas, and the texture job. today, we needed two jobs complete to pack and ship. with 23 prints per job (of varying sizes) and getting the word on the jobs thurs of last week, to do the cutting, stretching, and texturing - it's almost become too much for me to do in the time frames they give me.
and i don't get paid that damn much. i haven't gotten my raise yet.

baby girl and i have been walking several times a week in the evenings.
we met an older couple down the road that also have a bulld0g.
it's been good - refreshing - for us to get out and walk.
we both need it badly.

and right now - all the lights in the house are off, baby girl is sleeping soundly, the little pups are snoozing at the end of the bed, big brown is snoring on his bed. i checked on the lil'stirfry not too long ago - she's safe on the porch.
everything has such a feeling of peace lately.
there is an odd harmony among us all, under this roof, together.

i like it.
