i called in sick to work today.
i was a bit hungover from last night but i could have gone to work. but there is too much to do around here today and i've accumulated enough over time to even it out. and i can justify almost anything.
heh...

it's hard to be light hearted around here lately.
the recent diagnosis has been difficult to deal with. the many visits to the dr are already wearing thin.
but it's a necessity.
i'm not going to let her not take care of herself or miss an appt or anything.
she's going to beat this.

we are looking forward to the turkey holiday, too. planning a trip to the midwest to visit a ranch.

big girl is coming home this coming weekend. baby girl is going up there so it will be a total swap.
i really can't remember when big girl was here last...
it will be good anyway.

i'm off to get my hairs cut. it's been months since i've gotten it cut and if i don't go today, i will end up shaving my head.

but the bulld0g is snoring next to me and the big orange cat is curled up in the blanket. it's tempting.... to...
