so soon? part deux

another day in the sweat shop.
another day done.

i whacked the front of my shin, towards my ankle, on the side of the table today. i was jumping up on the table to work on a picture i was framing (a canvas that is 85"x52" framed) and well, i don't have much vertical.
after my wound that goes from my knee to almost my ankle and now this... my left leg is fucked.
so, i've been in the chair with my leg up and iced for the last hour. the pain meds are kicking in and i probably won't be able to get out of the chair any time soon.

and i have a date in a few weeks.
it's with a gal that i've known for many years. we've met up a few times over the years - the last time was last year up in the woods.
she's married and it's purely about the sex.
the last time we saw each other, i was up in the woods overnight and she came for a few hours during her workday. it had been some time since we saw each other and i wanted her to be as comfortable as possible. i had fruit and wine and even some weed but her comfort level never really leveled out enough.
seeing her this time is going to be exciting - we've been exchanging email, hoping to overcome the awkwardness of anything, and continue to understand expectations (which are none other than sex) and i'm so very looking forward to her.

and i think i need to take some more pain meds....
